From Elisabeth: “I began painting in 2013 after retiring from a 34 year career as a Registered Nurse. Nature, light, color, form and texture have always fascinated me, and the beauty of Maine constantly confronts me. Working with the fluidity of oil paint, the delight of observing light, shadow and contrast, and the challenge of mixing colors has been a profound experience since I began my journey into painting.”
